Ansgar Hudde has been arwarded the Best Paper Award 2019 for his article „Societal Agreement on Gender Role Attitudes and Childlessness in 38 Countries“ by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Demographie. In his paper, Ansgar Hudde analyzes different levels of childlessness in 38 countries and shows: the greater the variation in gender role attitudes, the higher the chance for individuals to remain childless.
