Credibility of Observational Social Research (META-REP)

Katrin Auspurg is a co-applicant and member of the program committee for the DFG-funded Priority Programme "META-REP: A Meta-scientific Programme to Analyse and Optimise Replicability in the Behavioural, Social, and Cognitive Sciences" (duration: 2021–2027). META-REP aims to analyze the replicability, robustness, and generalizability of scientific findings. The program is guided by three central questions: What is considered a "replication" in different scientific disciplines, and how replicable are published results? Why do replication rates vary within and across disciplines? How can replicability be sustainably improved? By addressing these questions, the program makes a fundamental contribution to understanding replicability as a key quality criterion of empirical research.

A detailed description of the META-REP Priority Program can be found on the website of the Departmenr Psychology.
